Tender Description
The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry, Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS), through its WorkSafe Group, is responsible for assisting the regulator in the administration of Western Australia?s Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Dangerous Goods Safety Act 2004 in order to secure compliance with the legislation. These Acts and their supporting regulations cover all workplaces within Western Australia (WA).
DEMIRS seek to procure a Software as a Service (SaaS) Solution to replace its legacy Work Health and Safety (WHS) business systems and deliver the functionality required to manage regulatory compliance efficiently and effectively with capabilities for persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) and citizens to transact digitally with Government. The Solution is a key initiative for the Customer?s Compliance and Regulation System (CARS) Transformation Program, and is a digital transformation initiative to simplify and standardise the administration of WHS regulatory functions, activities and processes.
The WorkSafe Group includes the General Industry, Mines Safety, Petroleum Safety and Dangerous Goods Safety service lines, and are currently managed and supported using multiple disparate legacy Information & Communication Technology (ICT) systems comprised of the WorkSafe Information Systems Environment (WISE), the Safety Regulation System (SRS) and the Dangerous Goods Hazard Management System (HAZMAN).

Potential Respondents must provide the name, title, company, email address and telephone number for each attendee registered.
A meeting invitation will be sent to all registered attendees prior to the briefing which will provide the access details for the briefing.
