The Whitsunday Coast Airport (WCA) is seeking experienced operators who can provide suitable goods and/or services within an airport booth opposite the baggage claim area of the arrival’s hall. There are nine (9) booths with two (2) on offer. You will be working alongside other booth operators that currently provide goods and/or services relevant to airport operations.

Whitsunday Coast Airport has had a significant increase in operations since 2020 which then offered three (3) direct flights by two (2) airline partners, to now in 2024 which sees eight (8) direct destinations across five (5) airlines. Passengers can travel to and from Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Cairns and the newest route commencing in September 2024 being Adelaide.

Whitsunday Coast Airport is projected to have 600,000 passengers per annum transit through its terminal.

The licence will be offered for a 3-year period with a 2-year option to renew at Council’s sole discretion and there may be turnover profit payable to Council for any sales made by the licensee (dependent on business goods/services being provided and will be reviewed based on the tender submission).
