Overview of proposed project

There is a requirement experienced Senior Procurement and Contract Management Officers (EL1 equivalent) to provide high quality procurement advice consistent with Commonwealth rules and legislation and best practice.

They are required to work both independently and as part of a team to support business units to undertake procurement activities within the agency.

The Senior ICT Procurement Officer manages and organises their own work in the context of competing priorities and works under limited direction. The Senior Procurement and Contract Management Officer should apply their previous experience in undertaking procurements for large and routine procurement processes to deliver value for money outcomes for the agency, in particular ICT Procurements. The senior Procurement and Contract Management Officer must have strong written and verbal communication skills. They must apply a practical approach to procurement and assist business to achieve outcomes consistent with procurement policy.
