This Request for Expression of Interest (Request) is for the provision of Municipal Services (the Services) to Aboriginal Peoples and their communities (Aboriginal Communities) in the Kimberley region.

The Services are to be provided in four Zones as follows:

• Zone 1: West Kimberley (25 Aboriginal Communities);
• Zone 2: East Kimberley (20 Aboriginal Communities);
• Zone 3: Gibb River (7 Aboriginal Communities); and
• Zone 4: Dampier Peninsula & Outstations (25 AboriginalCommunites).

Contracts for these Zones may be issued for up to five years,comprising a three year period with two discretionary one-year extension options.

The Services for each Zone comprise repair and maintenance services to municipal infrastructure, as follows:

•  Roads Maintenance (sealed & unsealed within the Communities);
•  Rubbish Collection;
•  Landfill;
•  Public Area Management;
•  Stormwater Drainage Management;
•  Shrub and Vegetation Control;
•  Firebreak Management; and
•  Airstrip Maintenance

This Request is the first part of a two-stage procurement process. 

For this stage, businesses, contractors and organisations including those that are Aboriginal owned, community-controlled or led, are invited to lodge a submission (Response) for one or more Zones.

Responses will be assessed for shortlisting into the second stage of the procurement process, which is a Request for Tender (RFT).

Up to five Respondents may be shortlisted for the RFT for each Zone.

You must submit a Response for this Request to be considered for shortlisting in the RFT stage.
