Tender Description

Primary Health Networks (PHNs) have been established with the key objective of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of health services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, and improving coordination of care to ensure clients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.

The Australian Government recognized the scale and impact of the 2022 flood events (February/March, July, and October) across Eastern Australia and released funding to the PHNs in affected regions to support the wellbeing and resilience of communities and individuals impacted by floods. In the Country to Coast Queensland (CCQ) region, these funds are targeted towards Gympie Regional Council local government area, Maryborough (statistical areas 3) and Noosa Council local government area.

CCQ invites organizations to submit an application for the delivery of evidence-based community-led disaster preparedness, response, or recovery activities that enhance mental health, social capital, and disaster resilience of participating individuals and communities. The activities must be delivered in Gympie Regional Council local government area, Maryborough (statistical area 3) and/or Noosa Regional Council local government area.
