Tenders are invited to establish a Supplier Arrangement for the provision of traffic control services.

Traffic control services are utilised by multiple branches across Council in support of a variety of operational activities, including minor and major construction projects, road works, maintenance works, emergent works and events.

Council requires Portable Traffic Lights to be utilised as a priority in the first instance.

The tender is structured into two Categories:

• Category 1 – Short Term Works and Extended Works

This is a priced category for the delivery of all aspects of traffic control services as defined in the Service Specification. The work includes but is not limited to the implementation of TMP and TGS, and supply of all required traffic controllers, equipment, vehicle and any other equipment deemed necessary to complete the works.

• Category 2 – Emergent Works

This is a priced category for the delivery of traffic control services requiring same day rapid response during significant weather events as defined in the Service Specification. The work includes, but is not limited to, implementation of TMP and TGS, supply of all required traffic controllers, equipment, vehicle and any other equipment deemed necessary to complete the works. Appropriate resources will be required to be available 24/7 to service Council’s requirements during emergent events.

The Supplier Arrangement will be established for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option of 1 x two (2) year extension period.
