AlburyCity is seeking to prepare an Urban Forest Strategy that progresses work already completed, to produce clear objectives and a prioritised action plan, incorporating the outcomes of a program of local community consultations.

The development of an Urban Forest Strategy for Albury LGA aims to reverse the decline in canopy cover and ensure that our urban forest will be planned and managed in an integrated manner that optimises shade, connectivity and resilience against continued urbanization and climate challenges.
