This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The NCA wants a report on the current state of its data landscape.
The key deliverable for this approach-to-market is a comprehensive report that will be used to guide the scope of requirements for another approach-to-market next financial year to find a suitable vendor to introduce a business intelligence platform (i.e. PowerBI) to the organisation.
This approach-to-market will require two distinct activities:
1) Data Platform Systems Analysis, consisting of the following
Current State
• Existing reports analysed and understood
• Report data sources identified and understood
Target State
• Desired dashboards identified and prioritised
• High-priority dashboards form and content specified
• Dashboard content data sources identified
• Data source acquisition understood to enable data to be ingested and stored
• Data transformation needs understood to integrate acquired data which can be published for consumption
• Dashboard content mapped to consumption data holding
2) Data Platform Discovery Report Preparation, consisting of the following:
• Data Platform Systems Analysis Findings of NCA's Current Data Landscape
• A high-level solution design for a modern, fit-for-purpose business intelligence/data platform for the organisation with recommendations such as an Implementation Roadmap, Implementation tasks, Estimated implementation effort & an estimated timeline for implementation.
The only deliverable for this approach-to-market will be the Report compiling all the findings from the discovery piece on NCA's current state and the recommendations, roadmap, tasks, effort required and reasonable timeline to implement.
