The Mount Barker District Council wishes to engage a suitably qualified Contractor or Contractor who are experienced in working to DIT specifications or equivalent and can provide quality workmanship in a timely manner for a range of bituminous and associated works.

This tender is being issued as three separate works packages, with contractors invited to tender on each works package that they can provide in accordance with this tenders specification.

The separate Works Packages will be awarded under separate contracts to the successful tenderer of each works package.

• Works Package A – Minor Asphalt (*less than 50 tonnes)

• Works Package B – Major Asphalt (*greater than 50 tonnes) • Works Package C – Sprayed Bituminous Surfacing

The intent of these works packages is to support the delivery of a variety of Council new, renewal and maintenance programs at Councils absolute discretion, potentially including;

• Road Reseal program

• Bituminous Maintenance, including patching, crack sealing etc

• Road construction

• Road shoulder widening

• Bituminous Carparks

• Bituminous footpaths
