The Shire of Augusta Margaret River (Principal) invites applications from parties interested in joining a panel of pre-qualified suppliers for the provision of supply for storm damage debris pickup.

Hourly rate for storm damage debris pickup various locations within the Shire of Augusta Margaret River (Shire). These works typically will occur during the months of May-October.

Minimum machinery required:

Suitably sized loader with grab attachments;

Suitably sized trucks (mininum 2 semi's)

Suitably qualified chainsaw personnel

Other possible machinery required:

28-30 tonne excavator

Low Loader

Tipper

All storm debris will be disposed of at a Shire facility, unless alternative arrangements with the Shire's representative have been made prior to commencement of works. The Shire will advise the location of the facility at the time services are booked.

Districts for collection will be split between North and South of the Shire. The Shire will provide a spreadsheet with SLK locations where the debris clean up will be required to be undertaken. The Contractor will be required to take after photos of these locations utilizing the Main Roads SLK Location APP. Should the Contractor locate debris that it is not listed on the spread sheet they are to take before and after photos using the Main Road SLK Location App. All photos are required to be taken from outside the vehicle, clearly showing how the debris is impacting the infrastructure.

The Contractor will be required to update the spreadsheet of works completed on a weekly basis.

Traffic control, if required, will be supplied by the Shire.
