Tender Description
This Contract is for the Rebuilding and Upgrading of a Stormwater Pumpstation and Area in off Askeaton Drive in Kaiapoi.
The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
- Removal of existing timber bank bracing, gravity screen, rubble bank.
- Proposing and installing new bank retention system
- Supply and install DN 900 'WaStop' non-return valve.
- Installing new rock lining at outlet.
- Installing replacement screens
- Installing safety railings and suspended platforms
- Building new accessway for vehicles, including a parking / turning area.
This Contract requires the contractor to be prequalified to a minimum of Tier A of Category 12: Utilities - Gravity of the WDC Civil Works Prequalification List.
