Central Coast Council is seeking Tenders for the engagement of suitably qualified and experienced Tree Maintenance Contractors for the works identified in these Tender Documents ('Proposed Contract').

This is a 'Schedule of Rates' based Contract for both routine and emergency public tree maintenance works. The location of trees may vary from nature strip areas of busy urban roads and residential streets, parks, and reserves, through to working in remote areas of bushland throughout the Central Coast Local Government Area.

Expenditure over recent years indicates that Central Coast Council is likely to spend in excess of $2.5 million per annum for this service under the proposed Contract. It is intended that the Contract will operate for a 3-year period, along with the option of taking up an additional two (2x) one-year extensions, subject to Council's discretion and satisfactory performance of the Service providers.

Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering into a Contract with a small number (3 or 4) suppliers who will be appointed to the Panel of Approved Contractors.
