Drill, Blast and Crush Services at Councils Hard Rock Quarries

⁠⁠⁠This tender calls for a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to attend Council hard rock quarries and provide crushed rock material production.

Exact quantities to be produced each visit will vary depending on works program requirements, but the minimum order placed per mobilisation will be 20,000 tonnes.

It is expected that each quarry will be visited at least once per financial year, with the aim to produce enough material to supply that financial year's works program. However, exact requirements will vary from year to year.

The contractor will be required to follow Councils Quarry Operational plans, and liaise with Councils Authorised Representative regarding the location of each blast.

Note in the tender the section for 'optional additional work' where Council mentions that we may also be interested professional quarry services; including work such as mine site regulatory duties, preparation and updating management plans, site inspections and audits, liaising with Regulatory bodies, preparing and submitting development applications.
