Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking an experienced, qualified and licensed demolition Contractor to demolish several end-of-life Council Assets located in Bowen and Collinsville.

The Demolition Works includes numerous buildings and ancillary structures to be demolished across two (2) sites. The structures to be demolished include the following Separable Portions:

a) Separable Portion 1 – Power House Road Complex – located at 239 Power House Road, Collinsville Qld 4804 – Demolition of Community Hall, Squash Court, Demountable Ablution Block and several ancillary structures; and

b) Separable Portion 2 – Bowen Junior Tennis Club – located at 5C Kent Street, Bowen Qld 4805 – Demolition of Tennis Clubhouse, Lighting Towers and Ancillary Structures.

In general, the demolition works at all sites will include the removal of all structures, disconnection and capping of all inground services and make good of all sites back to bare ground on completion of the Works.

The Works are expected to be commence late April 2024 and be completed by the 30th of June 2024.

Non-mandatory Tender Briefings have been arranged for Tuesday 13th February 2024, 9am Power House Road Complex, Collinsville and 11am 5C Kent Street, Bowen. Please refer Clause 7 of the Condition of Tender for further information on the locations and schedule.
