Tender Description
To manage the hire of external plant and trucks, Council develops a hire Panel every two years.
Panelled equipment will be used to hire wet and dry items to perform tasks that involve or are related to but not limited to the following:
- earth moving,
- construction,
- civil works, and
- infrastructure projects.
In the case of the proposed 2024-26 arrangement, the term will be two years, with an option to extend by a further two (2) x twelve (12) months by mutual agreement. A Deed of Standing Offer will be established between the Council and panelists, which sets out the associated agreed pricing and terms under which orders for hire will be made throughout the duration of the Panel.
