This Request for Tender (RFT) is to commission Head to Health satellite services in the North West (Burnie, Devonport) and in outer Hobart.

After successful launching the Launceston Head to Health centre Primary Health Tasmania is now planning to extend these services by establishing three additional Head to Health satellite services in Burnie, Devonport, and outer Hobart.

The Head to Health services are multidisciplinary, collaborative mental health services that will complement rather than replace or duplicate services already provided in the community. These services will deliver immediate, short to medium term care (a few weeks to several months) based on clinical judgement and individual need and provide integrated mental health and alcohol and other drug services.

These services are expected to be commissioned from May 2024 through to June 2026 through a phased approach.
