Sewer Pump Station (SPS) C1 is a 40 year old pump station which reports directly to Cooloola Cove Sewer Treatment Plant (STP). Much of the infrastructure in and around the pump station is ageing and will require upgrading to meet modern standards.

The SPS C1 is located within the Great Sandy Marine Park and as such is in an environmentally significant area; therefore, part of this scope of works will be to construct emergency storage to minimize the potential for sewer discharges in the future.

The scope of works has been broken down into separable portions which will be selected by Council for inclusion in the Contract once the tender returns have been received.
