Tender Description

The Construction of the Rosewood Police Station is being delivered within the existing Rosewood Police Station locality.

The Design and Project Management (Client Side) of the Replacement Station is being Managed by QBuild on behalf of the Queensland Police Service.

The Replacement Station is being delivered using a traditional Construction only Contract. The Design Consultants have finalised design, with all Approvals completed prior to the award of the Head Contract to Northbuild Construction QLD.

The Scope of Work includes:

Demolition of the existing Station and staff accommodation
Relocation of Heritage listed dwelling
Earthworks
Specialist trades including Electrical, Mechanical, Fire and Security Services.
Concrete Slab on Ground, Masonry and timber farmed walled and truss structure.
Internal finishes including plasterboard, paint, tile, resilient and carpet flooring, windows and doors.
Soft and Hard landscaping

The Project was awarded via competitive Tender to Northbuild Construction QLD in November 2023 with Construction commencing shortly after in December.

The Project is programmed to be completed in early July 2024.

Subcontractors interested in being involved should register an expression of interest (EOI) through the ICN Gateway webpage.

When submitting an EOI please ensure you clearly state what works you are expressing an interest for.

In accordance with Qld Government initiatives to (where possible) employ locally, businesses located within 100km of Rosewood will be given preference.

In accordance with Qld Government initiatives to provide training opportunities and support apprentices those businesses that currently employ trainees and apprentices will be given preference.
