Tender Description

Program Delivery

The Far North West Joint Organisation (FNWJO) has two (2) requests for quotes advertised.

• RDRP 004 (Cobar, Bourke, Brewarrina and Walgett Shires)

• RDRP 016 (Coonamble, Warren and Bogan Shires)

Applicants are invited to apply for one, or both advertised projects. If applying for both, applicants must demonstrate their ability and capacity to deliver both projects under the direction of FNWJO.

Far North West Joint Organisation is delivering two (2) Regional Drought Resilience Plans, one for each region (RDRP 004 and RDRP 016). There will be synergies across the development of the two plans for each of the two regions;

• RDRP 004 (Cobar, Bourke, Brewarrina and Walgett) and RDRP 016 (Coonamble, Warren and Bogan) cover a total of 20% of NSW land mass.

• RDRP 004 and one for RDRP 016 have overlapping industries and a more comprehensive regional perspective across industries can be obtained through research undertaken in tandem.

• RDRP 004 and RDRP 016 have shared business and social synergies, with Dubbo is the main regional center for both areas. Professionals that service the region i.e. finance, banking, legal, insurance services would only need to be consulted once and the information gathered could be utilised for both RDRP 004 and RDRP 01.

Contracted Supplier

FNWJO is seeking a consultant that is able to be flexible and understands that the development of RDRP 004 and RDRP 016 will be a shared responsibility of the Far North West Joint Organisation and consultant.

The consultant will have access to specialist skills that will allow for detailed data gathering and analysis including desktop review of existing data, resilience assessment of desktop data to prepare information as outlined in the Design / Deliverables / Budget / Dates.
