Stormwater and Road Upgrades, Harden and Young

⁠⁠⁠Hilltops Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the Stormwater and Road Upgrade for Binalong Street Harden, Thornhill Street Young and Old Temora Road Young.

This contract includes, but is not limited to, the following works:

Binalong Street

For Binalong and Lucan Streets, the Contractor shall undertake any additional surveying and locating of utilities to prepare and submit a plan for a schedule of works to complete the stormwater upgrade as outlined in Package 2 of the Harden Stormwater upgrade detailed design plan (subject to approval from Council).

- Review design and check for constructability.

- Obtain the required approvals, licences or permits for construction including review of environmental factors.

- Design, construction, and relocation of any services (if required).

- Landscaping.

Thornhill Street

For Thornhill Street in Young, Council requires that the following works be completed to progress this project to the pre-construction phase of Works. This includes:

- Detailed survey including utilities.

- The required geotechnical investigations.

- A final detailed design, including construction plans and contract documents.

- Obtain the required approvals, licences or permits for construction including review of environmental factors.

- Complete a pavement design.

- Construction of a road surface to TfNSW specifications tied to the existing adjoining roads.

- Landscaping.

Old Temora Road

For Old Temora Road, the Contractor shall undertake any additional surveying and locating of utilities to prepare and submit a plan for a schedule of works to complete the stormwater and Road upgrade as outlined in Milvale Road Upgrade detailed design plan (subject to approval from Council).

- Review design and check for constructability.

- Obtain the required approvals, licences or permits for construction including review of environmental factors.

- Design, construction, and relocation of any services (if required).

- Construction of kerb and guttering.

- Complete a pavement design.

- Construction of a road surface to TfNSW specifications tied to the existing adjoining roads.

- Landscaping.
