Tender Description
Hilltops Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties for the upgrade of Rockdale Road in Young.
This contract includes, but is not limited to, the following works:
- Review the design of Rockdale Road.
- Obtain the required approvals, licences or permits for construction including review of environmental factors.
- Design, construction, and relocation of any services (if required).
- Complete a geotechnical investigation. (Please assume a CBR of 2%).
- Complete a pavement design.
- The pavement designed for an industrial area with B double access.
- Design ESA 5x10^6. 40-year design life.
- Construction of a road surface to TfNSW specifications tied to the existing adjoining roads.
Options for road surface are:
- Concrete (steel fibre reinforced).
- AC hot mix / road base.
- 2 coat bitumen seal / road base.
- Installation of approach guardrail, signage and guideposts.
- Landscaping.
