Wollondilly Shire Council (the Principle) is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified, licensed and experienced Design and Construct contractors for the procurement of the proposed works and services as outlined below.
This Tender is for the design and construction of the new extension and internal refurbishment of The Oaks RFS building at 33 McIntosh Street, The Oaks. This includes the final design, demolition, refurbishment of the existing internal areas and the construction of the new extension to provide the following facilities;
1. 4 x Engine Bays
2. Brigade Office
3. Store & Workshop
4. Training Office
5. BA Wet Store
6. Small & Large Training Room
7. Male & Female Toilets and Showers
8. Kitchen
9. Accessible Bathroom
The total area of the proposed new and existing building is 588.3m2 excluding the Concrete Hardstand (226.16m2).
This is a Council owned site and the approval process will be via the Review of Environmental Factors (REF) included as part of the documentation.
The BCA Classification for this building are Class 5 and 7a.
The resulting contract will be a Lump Sum Contract.
