Monitor, Patient, Vital Signs (referred to as the Vital Signs Monitor) are required to provide a low acuity monitoring option in a clinical environment.

The Vital Signs Monitor shall be capable of measuring and displaying heart rate, oxygen saturation of the blood, patient temperature and non-invasive blood pressures.

Pulse Oximetry (SpO2) shall provide:

1. Support for a range of probes/sensors, re-usable and disposable, suitable for a range of patient demographics, including neonatal, paediatric, adult, and bariatric
2. Compatibility with a range of integrated probe/sensor technology
3. Pulse/signal strength indicator
4. Waveform and numeric display
5. Audible and visible alarms
6. High degree of patient motion artefact rejection

Non-Invasive Blood Pressure shall provide:

1. STAT and set time modes
2. Range of cuff sizes

Temperature shall provide:

1. Support for multiple temperature sites.
2. Options for contactless temperature sensors should also be tendered.

Vital Signs Monitors that are capable of measuring and displaying more than the above parameters should also be tendered.
