Calwynyardah/Nookanbah and Millijiddee Road - Reshaping and Gravel Re-sheeting

⁠⁠⁠Tyne the existing road formation surface to a depth of 150mm

Mix the tyned material with material graded to side of road or imported gravel material (where required), and add water so that there is a single even windrow of suitable material for the subgrade. Spread water and compact the subgrade material to the correct profile (3% Crowned Cross-fall), level and density. This new layer will form the new subgrade layer. Density to be achieved is not to be less than 95% modified MOD.

Construct/clean out table drains on either side of the formation to ensure water flow to the appropriate culvert, floodway or other off road drainage locations. Existing offshoot drains are to be cleaned out whilst any new offshoot drains constructed shall not direct storm water runoff into private properties.

Supply and deliver acceptable gravel from nominated gravel pit(s) and dump in the correct dumping pattern to achieve a base layer of 150mm (compacted thickness). Add water, mix, spread and compact to the correct profile. Density to be achieved is not to be less than 98% modified MDD.
