The Department of Education (the Department) provides high quality education for children and young people throughout Western Australia. The quality of the school facilities and grounds are vital in providing an excellent learning environment for students.

The Department owns and manages approximately 850 sites located throughout the State. These sites may vary at any time in accordance with the Department`s acquisition and disposal programs. Most properties are held for a lifetime, and some may be retained for less, depending on the purpose for which they were acquired.

The Department requires the specialist Services of a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide comprehensive valuations for Department Buildings, Outbuildings and Covered Ways and Land Improvement assets with a measurement date as at 1 July each year.
