Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The Attorney-General’s Department seeks to partner with a provider to deliver the Manager Essentials program, our key learning program for managers and supervisors.

Following redevelopment in 2023, the program consists of 10 x 90-minute modules designed to equip managers with skills and knowledge across a range of people management topics. The modules are designed to be completed in any order, and are suitable for new and experienced managers. We estimate the delivery of each module to be up to 3 times per year.

The successful provider will work closely with our Learning and Development team and other relevant stakeholders in the delivery of the program, ensuring all methods of the APS Continuous Learning Model and the principles of the APS Learning Quality Framework are applied.

The facilitator/s will have a background and/or deep understanding of managing employees and human resource management in the public sector. They will be able to facilitate all modules with credibility and draw linkages across the suite. The facilitator/s will deliver training in an engaging, inclusive, accessible and culturally safe manner.

We require specified facilitators to have experience in:

  • facilitating training in face to face, virtual and in hybrid formats
  • using available technology to enhance learner experience
  • drawing connections between training modules, building knowledge and connections for learners
  • Strong understanding of leadership in the public sector context, and ability to link that to departmental culture and strategies
  • Adapting facilitation style to hybrid format.

The provider will identify a team of additional facilitators that can be deployed to deliver sessions at short notice to manage risk of facilitator illness or inability to deliver sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.

The following requirements pertain to the pricing quoted in the submission:

  • Pricing must be stated in Australian dollars (AUD)
