The Contractor will be engaged to undertake the improvement of a neglected area of natural public open space (POS), Peace Park, and the upgrade of a poorly maintained open drain.

Works include earthworks to regrade the existing drainage channel and upstream wetlands, the construction of a circular, gravel (natural) footpath incorporating a boardwalk (over the wetlands) and a bridge (over the drainage channel). Also, a natural play and rest area will be constructed near the footpath within the POS.

The detailed requirements for the Works are set out in Appendix 1 (Technical Specification).

The Works include leaving the area in a good condition, and to the satisfaction of the Principal, in accordance with the Contract.

No site meeting or tender briefing will be held.
