Mount Barker District Council (the Council) invites Tenders from Tenderers for the purchase of Chemicals for use in the treatment of wastewater (the Goods). The Council will enter into a Panel Agreement for the Supply of Chemicals with the successful Tenderers.

Mount Barker District Council seeks to establish a panel of suppliers across 3 lots of Chemical Supply for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend the term for a further two (2) years. It is expected that the Council will select more than one supplier to be included in the panel arrangement.

The lots are as follows:

a) Various chemicals

i. Aluminium Sulphate

ii. Poly Aluuminium Chloride

iii. Sodium Hypochlorite

iv. Citric Acid

v. Caustic

b) Chlorine Gas

c) Sugar (D. Nitro)

The Council has three wastewater treatment plants at the following locations:

i. Springs Road, Mount Barker (MBWWTP)

ii. Little Dublin Road, Mount Barker (LDRRWTF)

iii. Sidler Road, Meadows (MWWTP)
