Tender Description
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified construction companies for the reconstruction of the Primrose Sands Road and Grevillea Street intersection in Primrose Sands. The works associated with the reconstruction include (but are not limited to) milling the existing road seal, stabilization of existing road pavement, supply installation and compaction of base course material, supply and placing road seal/asphalt, and supply and installation of stormwater kerb, pipe and pits.
A pre-tender meeting is scheduled for 10:30am on Thursday 18 January 2024. Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory.
Tenders must be clearly marked “Tender for C-23-T-006 Primrose Sands Road and Grevillea Street Reconstruction, Primrose Sands” and may be deposited in the Tender Box at the Sorell Council Offices, 47 Cole Street, Sorell or received by mail prior to the closing date. Tenders will be accepted up until 2:00pm on Wednesday 7 February 2024. Neither the lowest nor any Tender will necessarily be accepted. Late Tender responses will not be considered.
