Tender Description
Construction of a new generator platform complete with handrails, stairs and access ramps to allow the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new generator (by others). A retaining wall shall be erected on each side of the generator with a concrete footing and a 2m hardstand encompassing it. A ramp shall be constructed at each end of the hardstand to facilitate Franna/forklift access and a steel staircase for personnel access.
In addition, a new main switch room shall be constructed inside the existing switch room by erecting a wall and constructing a new double leaf door. The entrance to the new room shall include a steel platform and staircase to be accessed from the platform of the structure and a further staircase for access from ground level.
