Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Conveyor and coal handling plant inspections, maintenance and repairs for a period of two (2) years at Vales Point Power Station.

Vales Point Power Station consists of two (2) 660 megawatt units. The coal handling plant provides coal to the units and consists of a rail unloader facility with an overland conveyor system, live storage and reclamation system and conveyors from Mannering Colliery to both units. Refer Appendix A for a list of conveyor belts on Site.

The below table contains the forecast of the annual tonnage of coal transported by the named conveyors for the next two (2) years.

LOCATION OF SITE

The Vales Point Power Station is located on the southern shore of Lake Macquarie, approximately 130 km north of Sydney, New South Wales, and approximately 3 km off the Pacific Highway North of Doyalson.
