Tender Description
The Waikato A River project is to construct a new river intake and raw water pump station to supply the W50 WTP in the short term (5-10 years) and provision for Phase 2 which will supply Waikato A WTP in the long term (beyond 2030). Raw water pumps are integral to the success of this project.
In summary the works consists of constructing the new screens, pipe works, raw water pump station, sand separation, electrical upgrades and interim rising main connection to the existing W50 rising main.
Watercare is looking to procure three (3) raw water pumps to include an element of design support, validation of install, and field testing (noting that the preliminary design has been completed).
