Tender Description
Port Stephens Council (PSC) requires a tool which provides a platform of information, data and insights on our local community values and sense of place.
The tool should include the following:
- Assessment and tracking capability for initiatives related to creating spaces
- Capability to measure and monitor our infrastructure
- Capability to measure and monitor the development of our critical strategic planning documents
- A platform for comprehending the community's values, sentiments, and assessing their sense of place by utilizing:
- Data Compilation
- Designing and executing community surveys
- Statistical interpretation or analysis of data.
- Involvement of the community
- Online presence initiative.
- Communication resources for PSC channels
- Engagement directly within the community
- Different in-person and conventional methods for collecting engagement data.
- Comparative analysis within the industry
- A measurement tool that captures our community's ratings of different place characteristics.
- Characteristics that are in harmony with PSC's Community Strategic Plan and objectives for service delivery.
- A live online viewing dashboard that consolidates relevant data, reports, and insights, designed for internal use. Additionally, a report will be generated for uploading to Council's website.
- Incorporation of the latest and pertinent comparative data from the Australian Government Census into the platform.
- Training and assistance for the tool/platform.
- Marketing strategy encompassing a communication toolkit, support, and guidance.
- Approach to acquiring a representative sample that mirrors the demographic distribution of our Local Government Area (LGA) population.
- Executive summary reporting.
- Yearly subscription agreement
The planning and reporting phase should encompass the following:
- Initial meeting with the project team.
- Preliminary data analysis for review and discussion with the project team.
- Preliminary report for the project team's review.
- Chance for feedback and revisions to align with Council's requirements.
- Conclusive report.
- The conclusive data analysis, report, and platform are scheduled to be completed by May 1, 2024.
