Tender Description

Suppliers are invited by the Customer to submit an offer for ITO No. RSH.079.23 for the provision of a panel of doctors to complete former Queensland mine and quarry worker health assessments (former worker assessments) as specified in Part B: Contract Details document.

The Customer is seeking to engage practices or individual approved supervising doctors to complete individual former worker assessments under the Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulation 2017 (Qld) and Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Regulation 2017 (Qld) for former Queensland mine and quarry workers on behalf of the Customer.

The scope of the potential Contract will cover the following requirements (see Part B – Contract Details – Schedule 1 Requirements for full details):

  1. Provision of RSHQ approved supervising doctors to complete former worker assessments for former mine and quarry workers in accordance with regulatory and contract requirements on behalf of the customer;
  2. Management of logistics and third party providers to facilitate the completion of former worker assessments, delivered as part of a streamlined and quality assured process.
  3. Provision of appropriate personnel, systems and procedures to deliver the administrative, communication and reporting components of contract requirements;

The following is out-of-scope for this ITO:

  1. Provision of former worker health assessments to former workers that do not meet the eligibility criteria for a former worker assessment.
  2. Provision of health assessments and respiratory health surveillance to current Queensland mine and quarry workers.
