Tender Description
The research is expected to gain insights from the cashless gaming technology on:
- reducing gambling harm in NSW clubs and hotels
- the clubs and hotels industry and the people they employ
- the infrastructure and cost requirements for clubs and hotels in relation to any rollout of cashless gaming technology.
The project includes developing and implementing a methodology in line with the trial objectives, developing and refining research instruments, ethics approval, data collection, analysis and reporting.
This project is being undertaken by the Department on behalf of the Independent Panel for Gaming Reform (the Panel). The outcomes from the evaluation will directly inform the Panel's recommendations to the NSW Government.
