Tender Description
Orange City Council has received a grant from the NSW Government to improve the general amenities in the Lake Canobolas Reserve. These works include the installation of new accessible pathways, shade structures and a new playground. In addition to these improvements Council would like to install a boardwalk which would allow people of all abilities to get out onto the lake, fish and use as a swimming platform.
The contractor is to design and install 85 metres of floating accessible pathway with a width of 2.5 metres (minimum) across the cove adjacent to the western beach at Lake Canobolas, as shown in the included sketch, with a platform approximately 4m x 4m open to the lake side, In the middle of the boardwalk for the purposes of recreational access to the lake.
