Expressions of Interest - Audit & Risk Management Committee

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to join its Audit and Risk Management Committee (ARMC) as external independent members.

• The ARMC is a committee of Council that focuses on the effectiveness of the Shire’s systems, processes, risk management and compliance with legal and financial obligations.
• The committee consists of three (3) Councillors plus two (2) external independent members. The Shire is seeking two (2) external independent members. External members of the committee should have business and financial management, governance, and/or risk management experience.
• The term is generally in line with the biannual local government elections, the next of which will be held in October 2025. The ARMC meets four (4) times per year.
