Nelson City Council - Maitai Road Slip Repairs - RFT - 4Dec2023

⁠⁠⁠The Principal is looking for a collaborative Contractor to undertake Contract Works associated with the remediation of the Maitai Valley Road at the intersection of Nile Street.

The Contractor will be expected to use their experience in constructability, traffic management and in operating under difficult site access conditions to work collaboratively with the Principal and their designer in undertaking the most practical, safe and cost-effective approach to the construction.

• The underslip is the replacement of a 30m section of failed Gabion Wall. A new concrete pile wall with precast L-Wall sections and 8-12m anchors is to be constructed behind the failed gabions.

• The overslip is a semi-permanent rock fall protection fence anchored to the rock face.
