Tender Description

The renewal of a playground at Karenga Park Reserve, 10 Bennetts Road, Koutu, Rotorua, which are to be completed by Saturday the 30th of March 2024.

The works comprise of the install of a new playground, drinking fountain, furniture and landscaping.

The preference is for site to be closed for a maximum allowance of 45 calendar days. Council must be notified 2 weeks prior to works commencing so the public can also be notified.

The Contractor is responsible for all works detailed in the technical specification.

Landscape works included in this construction are for the supply of all: plants, labour, materials, quality assurance, as-built drawings and incidentals necessary for:

a. Supply and installation of landscape features in the playground, including edging, boulders, logs, log-steps, planting, paths, logs, drainage, outdoor furniture, concreting and safety surfaces of the playground.

b. Liaising with playground companies over the installation of pre-selected playground equipment.

c. Install a new drinking fountain and associated water supply.

d. Prepare and plant various garden beds

e. Re-seed grassed areas affected by the construction works.
