Tender Description
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the scope is for the supply of Distributed DC Charger power equipment to charge LME/SME fleets deployed across Fortescue’s Pilbara operations.
Fortescue’s charging solution is expected to leverage a modular design to achieve nominal electrical rating of approximately 1.5MVA per Distributed DC charger system, with final rating to be confirmed through design development, site load studies, component availability and charger utilisation requirements.
The scope of supply may include the following:
• Supply of approximately 20 liquid-cooled distribution charger power cabinets (AC/DC conversion units), with nominal output rating of 600-1000kW per cabinet as per manufacturer’s standard.
• Power cabinets must be liquid-cooled solutions suitable for exposed minesite installation and Pilbara conditions. Preferred solution to be IP65 rated.
• Units shall operate on a supply of 415VAC power and have the capability that multiple power cabinets can be DC coupled.
• Supply total of 100 outlet connectors comprising of liquid cooled CCS2 dispensers with a minimum rating of 500A per plug, or naturally cooled with a minimum rating of 350A per plug.
• Provision for MCS dispenser connection to the DC coupled bus in future based on available capacity in the DC bus.
All equipment supplied is required to comply with Australian Standards and Fortescue Standard Specifications.
The Project, including this package INF-27 Gen-2 LME/SME Charger Power Module and Dispenser Supply, is subject to internal approvals. The procurement process or scope may change at the election of FMG Procurement Services Pty Ltd, including to accommodate project budget and time requirements.
