Tender Description

The George Bolton Swimming Centre’s existing gas boiling water heating system has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement. To achieve Council’s goal of becoming a carbon neutral organisation before 2030, Council has resolved to replace the existing boiler with electric heat pumps.

The scope of works include:

Establish additional power conduits between SAPN transformer and Plant Room.
Removal of 4x Melaleuca Trees from site.
Removal of gas main and all relevant pipework, and capping of remaining pipe.
Procurement and installation of 6x Heating Pumps.
Construct acoustic housing for the heating plant
