Tender Description
The George Bolton Swimming Centre’s existing gas boiling water heating system has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement. To achieve Council’s goal of becoming a carbon neutral organisation before 2030, Council has resolved to replace the existing boiler with electric heat pumps.
The scope of works include:
- Establish additional power conduits between SAPN transformer and Plant Room.
- Removal of 4x Melaleuca Trees from site.
- Removal of gas main and all relevant pipework, and capping of remaining pipe.
- Procurement and installation of 6x Heating Pumps.
- Construct acoustic housing for the heating plant
