Portable Kitchen and Catering Equipment Hire

Tasting Australia (TA) promotes South Australia’s premium food and beverages as a culinary tourism destination hosted at the Tasting Australia hub located in the Victoria Square/ Tarntanyangga. The hub is open for ten days from 3-24 May 2024 and covers lunch and dinner services. The 2023 event had a total of 68,000 visitors.

The pop-up restaurant has become an important part of the Tasting Australia program providing a unique opportunity to showcase the culinary skills to guests. It also increases the opportunity to increase revenue, build partnership and endorse South Australia’s strengths in the food and dining space.Restaurant guests and the broader public enjoy the interaction with the guest chefs and the ability to watch them cooking in the on-site kitchen. Therefore providing adequate kitchen space and equipment is critically important to allow the interactions and support smooth operational delivery of the services.

Tasting Australia event requires portable kitchen/s with catering equipment and dishwasher units to be hired for the hub on the Town Square. The portable kitchens and catering equipment will be used by the caterers and guest chefs as part of their services at the onsite restaurant and masterclass pavilion. The dishwashing units will be located at various points across the site including the public food and bar vendors.
