Tender Description
Goondiwindi Regional Council (Council) is the freehold owner of Lot 1 SP327025 known as 36-42 Bowen Street, Goondiwindi, part of which includes a large storage shed. The shed and land surrounding the shed on the site are considered surplus to Council’s requirements.
Council is requesting expressions of interest for potential uses, including the sale or lease of a portion of the land on Lot 1 SP327025 36-42 Bowen Street Goondiwindi. This Information Memorandum further defines the portion of the Property offered for potential sale or lease (Figure 1).Below is a diagram (Figure 1) of Lot 1 SP327025 36-42 Bowen Street, Goondiwindi. At present, the intended portion of this land which is the subject of this Expression of Interest is the ‘Shed Site’ noted below (Property) with easements created for Property access (red shaded areas).
Council notes that the sketch below is a possible configuration for subdivision of the land, however Council may consider Submissions that propose a different configuration, or tenure, for the Property for this Expression of Interest. Despite this, it is Council’s preference to retain as much of the carparking area on the land as possible, as well as the public toilet block (to the right of the proposed 280m2 easement). It is also the intention that the existing carports in front of the shed are relocated to another area of the public carpark.
This Information Memorandum provides preliminary information to assist interested parties with their assessment of the property.
