LED GC189-193.23 Road Lighting Upgrade Project and Smart LIghting Controller Installation

⁠⁠⁠The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals from Rate 3 approved suppliers for LED Road lighting Upgrade Project and Smart Lighting Controller Installation – South Coast – LED-GCP35.38.44.45.46.

Invitation to Tender Numbers: GC189.23 / GC190.23 / GC191.23 / GC192.23 / GC193.23

RoadTek are required to undertake the replacement of ageing HID luminaires and installation of Smart Lighting Controllers (SLC) at thirteen (13) sites across the Gold Coast Region.

The work required will be broken up into two parts, A and B.

• Part A will require the upgrading of existing road lighting luminaires to LED and the installation of SLC’s, while Part B will require the installation of the SLC units in previously LED upgraded road lighting systems.
• All works and materials shall be in accordance with the relevant and current versions of the Transport and Main Roads Specifications and attached project specific documentation. The works shall be carried out under the RoadTek Works Contract.
• Package of work covers the replacement of Rate 3 HID luminaires and installation of SLCs at nominated streetlighting poles at the selected site in the Gold Coast Region.

Scope, Timing and Programme of Work

• The anticipated start date: 29.01.2024
• The tenderer is to submit with the tender, a works program stating key milestones including start date, date for practical completion and date for final completion (including submission of final quality documentation)
• In submitting the tender, the tenderer shall be deemed to have inspected the site, to have assessed the physical conditions of the site and to have allowed for such conditions in the offer. The tenderer is invited to examine the information relevant to the site which is listed in Part 6 and Part 7. The tenderer will be deemed to have examined all this Information before the tender is submitted.
