Programmed Facility Management (Programmed FM) has been engaged by Department of Communities to deliver a portion of the Social Housing Investment Fund (SHIF).
The SHIF is to aid in the WA Covid-19 economic recovery and support the WA Construction industry while improving the lifespan and quality of homes available for social housing. While the primary objective of SHIF is about creating jobs in the building and construction industry, SHIF also provides an opportunity to focus on employment outcomes for members of the community who experience barriers to employment and for those who are disproportionately impacted by the economic and social impacts of COVID-19. This includes Aboriginal people, women, youth and people with disability. The strategic principles underpinning this approach is to support the employment of Aboriginal people, women, youth and people with disability.

As part of this package Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Communities are seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake refurbishment works at the following premises:
Lot 1735, 1/30 Mungarra Street, Tom Price, WA, 6751
Lot 1735, 2/30 Mungarra Street, Tom Price, WA, 6751
Lot 1735, 3/29 Yiluk Street, Tom Price, WA, 6751
Lot 1735, 4/29 Yiluk Street, Tom Price, WA, 6751
The Work includes but is not limited to refurbishment works associated with:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Cabinetry
- Flooring and tiling and skirting
- Doors
- Ceilings
- A/C Servicing
- Screens
- External and Internal maintenance and repair works
- Roof works
- Internal and External cleaning
- Fencing
- Concrete and civil works as per engineer's report
- Painting
Tenderers shall make themselves familiar with the existing site conditions, the specifications, drawings and all Contract documentation. All measurements and details shown on drawings or other documents (if any) are to be confirmed by Tenderers prior to submission of their tender.
All materials and installation shall be supplied and be in accordance with Australian Standards and all codes and regulations relevant to the Scope of Work contained herein.
Site Visit
A site visit will be held at Lot 1735, 1/30 Mungarra Street Tom Price, WA, 6751 on 27 November 2023 10:00 AM.
A non-mandatory site briefing will be held at Lot 1735, 1/30 Mungarra Street, Tom Price, WA, 6751.
