Redruth Landfill Cell 2.3 & 2.4 LFG & Capping Works 2023/2024

⁠⁠⁠The Works comprise the Cells 2.3/2.4 landfill gas (LFG) system and associated final capping in accordance with the Drawings and this Specification. The work includes but is not limited to: Cell 2.3/2.4 Capping and LFG System

- Site clearance and removal of existing obstructions.

-Test pitting where required by the Engineer.

- Supply and install gas collection pipes trenched into the waste and existing cap material.

- Removal of existing solar spark flares from Stage 2 and construction of a new solar spark metal frame to allow for unit to be moved by existing Enviro NZ equipment (i.e. loader or excavator).

- Moving to final position gas collection and leachate pipelines from the existing leachate well and Stage 1 leachate riser pipeline.

- Relocate gas cross connector pipe to the crest of the landfill within the capping materials.

- Supply and install gas ring main.

- Excavate and place existing SW06 pipeline into a trench.

- Construction of leachate cleanout riser anchor block and gas connections.

- Supply, cart and construct compacted Clay Capping Layer.

- Cart Growth Medium from stockpile and place on compacted Clay Capping Layer.

- Supply, cart, and construct Topsoil layer on Growth Medium.

- Topsoil preparation and grassing.

- Clean up on completion.

Stage 3 leachate rising main pipeline

- Supply and install new leachate storage tank and associated connection.

Supply and install new alternative leachate rising main pipeline and associated connections.
