The City of Bayswater ('the City') is a WA local government located approximately eight kilometres north east of the Perth CBD. The City includes the suburbs of Bayswater, Bedford, Embleton, Morley, Noranda, Maylands and parts of Mount Lawley and Dianella.

The City is collaborating with the Department of Transport to improve the safety of pedestrians and cyclists through the development and implementation of new shared paths and cycling facilities.

The City is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the construction of the Drake Street Bike Path. A comprehensive set of drawings has been included in the tender request.

The locations are:

1. Drake Street (Broun Avenue to Railway Parade)

2. Adelphi / Hester Streets (May Street to Coode Street)

3. Evans Place (Coode Street to Drake Street)

4. Coode Street (Supplementary Works)

The layout and specifications of the bike path are provided in the drawings marked 22218-1-000 rev B though to 22218-3-401 rev B.

Please be advised that the City will require 75% completion of the project by 30 June 2024 with the remaining 25% to be completed by 30th October 2024.
