Tenders for Tender No. T054 2024 Forest Road Landfill Leachate Treatment Plant will be received up to 11.00 am on Thursday, 15 February 2024.
The works include the design, construction, commissioning and proving of a wastewater treatment plant that will treat the leachate from the Forest Road Landfill to meet the requirements of the Liquid Trade Waste Management Guidelines for Councils in Regional NSW, 2021.
It is expected that the main components of the Leachate Treatment Plant will be manufactured, and factory tested prior to delivery to site.
The key design parameters for the Leachate Treatment Plant are as follows:

- (15kL/d ultimate)
- Peak Daily Flowrate 15 kL/day
- (20kL/d ultimate)
- Design Maximum Raw Leachate Ammonia (NH3-N) 750 mg/L
- Design Maximum Raw Leachate Total Nitrogen 1000 mg/L
- Design Maximum Raw Leachate Sum of PFHxS & PFOS 8.0 ug/L
- Design Maximum Raw Leachate Sum PFAS (WA DER List) 12 ug/L
The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted, and the canvassing of any Councillor will automatically disqualify the Tenderer.
