Tender Description
Queensland Rail is improving accessibility at regional stations by upgrading five stations under Tranche 1 of the Station Transformation and Accessibility Regional Refresh (STARR) program. Tranche 1 stations include Maryborough West, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Cairns, and Townsville. The core objective is to bring these stations in full compliance with Queensland Rail's obligations under the Disability and Discrimination Act (DDA), Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport (DSAPT) and other relevant standards.
Queensland Rail would like to engage a design consultant/s in preparing CONCEPT DESIGN drawings and reports for Bundaberg, Townsville, and Cairns stations. For each project, the consultant will be required to submit comprehensive proposals that detail their approach and methodology. The consultant will be expected to work closely with the client to ensure that the designs are delivered within the specified timelines and budget.
