The Opportunity

Bounded by the Great Barrier Reef to the east and sandstone wilderness in the west, Livingstone Shire is located within the Fitzroy Region of Central Queensland and covers 11,800 square kilometers on the Capricorn Coast. The major urban townships of Yeppoon and Emu Park are where the majority of the population reside, our beautiful rural areas include Byfield, Cawarral, The Caves, Stanage, Marlborough, Glenlee and Glendale.

Council services a population of 40,000. Our major industries include retail, tourism, education and training, health care and social assistance, construction and agriculture.

Livingstone Shire Council is seeking to REFRESH the existing Register of suitably qualified contractors for the wet hire of plant to perform planned maintenance services, responsive maintenance services and minor capital works on Livingstone Shire Council sites.

Existing contractors need not re-apply unless they wish to tender for additional supply of wet plant hire categories to which they are already approved.

Objective

Livingstone Shire Council is seeking responses to this Invitation to Tender for the Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (RPQS) Wet Plant Hire Tender No. 2023.002 as per specification.

The purpose of this ITT process is to assess the ability of Tenderers to complete the Services, including in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards.

Council’s requirements in relation to the Services are set out in Section 2 of this Invitation (Technical Specification).
